Résumé Parish of Norton, Kings County, Farmer. Will dated 8 June 1802, proved 14 April 1804. Wife Prudence use of all household furniture and one-third of the profits from yearly income of the farm whereon I dwell for life. Sons Simon BAXTER, Benjamin BAXTER, Elijah BAXTER and Abraham BAXTER each one shilling. Son Joseph BAXTER land on the south side of the Kennebecasis River adjoining his farm, between his east boundary and land granted to Duncan CAMPBELL. Daughter Prudence HUSTIS land between Joseph BAXTER's farm and a farm lately owned by Captain John SMITH, being about 1200 acres. At her decease the land to be divided among her children. Son William BAXTER one shilling. Daughter Abigail FAHEY the farm on which she now lives, being 500 acres. At her decease the land to be divided among her children. Daughter Dorothy HAYS the farm on which she now lives. At her decease the land to be divided among her children. Friend Samuel MILES of the City of Saint John, merchant, residue of estate, he paying all my just debts and funeral expenses. Samuel MILES sole executor. Witnesses: George HARDING Junr., William SECORD, Charles I. PETERS. CODICIL dated 19 March 1804 Whereas Samuel MILES . . . Doth by His own free will and Consent refuse to take upon him the part of Executor, appoints sons William BAXTER, Joseph BAXTER, Elijah BAXTER and Abraham BAXTER executors. Witnesses: John LANNEN, John C. HAYES, Benjamin SMITH, Mary BAXTER. Inventory, dated 20 April 1804, valued personal estate at about £80 and real estate, consisting of two tracts of land, at £250 by Caleb HOWE and Hector DICKIE.
