Will dated 8 October 1780, proved 31 July 1786. Wife Elizabeth one-third of estate, residue to children Elizabeth, Thomas, Sarah, Ebenezer, Abigail, Joseph and William. Col. Abijah WILLARD and Col. [blank, prob. Josiah] EDSON executors. (Only Abijah WILLARD sworn.) Witnesses: Rem ADRIANCE, John JOHNSON, Thomas GOSS. Administration of the estate in New Brunswick granted on 6 September 1796 to Thomas PAGAN, the executors "being as it is alleged, deceased," and the eldest son, Thomas BEMAN, and the only next of kin in this province having renounced.
