Abstract Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County. Will dated 19 April 1831, proved 25 July 1831. Son Gideon a lot of woodland bought from Benjamin B. REED in Hopewell, being part of Lot 8. Son Benjamin part of my farm adjoining land owned by John SMITH Esq. Daughter Loruhamah part of my farm adjoining land given Benjamin. Sons Gideon and Benjamin my wearing apparel. Daughter Jemima LEWIS 10 shillings. Daughter Sarah 5 shillings. Daughter Martha [STEVENS or STURNS] the feather bed that was her mothers. Daughter Lorihamah the other feather bed. Daughter Susannah MATHEWS the chest that was her mothers. Wife Mary BRAY the remaining part of my farm, bounded by land sold to Ephraim BABCOCK, farming utensils and household furniture. David AKERLY, Benjamin BRAY and Ephraim BABCOCK executors. Witnesses: David AKERLY, Frederick BENNET, Asail W. AKERLY.
