Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Merchant. Intestate. Administration granted 11 May 1833 to Jedediah SLASON Esq. of Fredericton, York County, a creditor. Fellow bondsmen Lewis BURNS and William REYNOLDS, gentlemen, both of the City of Saint John. On 9 May 1833 the widow Elizabeth BROWNSWORD appeared before the Judge of Probate, stated that her husband had died at sea sometime in the year 1827 and absolutely declined administration of the estate. Inventory, taken 16 May 1833 valued at £72 by the administrator and bondsmen, consisted solely of household furnishings.
