Abstract Parish of Sheffield, Sunbury County. Will dated 4 July 1827, proved 2 December 1828. Daughter Charity HARRISON £100. Sons James and Hugh each 10 shillings. Daughter Elisabeth BANKS £100. Daughter Mary FERGUSON 10 shillings and the reversion of the land purchased of her husband by me. Son William £100, to be paid as his necessity may require. The heirs of my son Samuel, deceased, 10 shillings. The heirs of my sons David and Reuben and of my daughter Sarah JONES do not receive any part of my estate, having received their several proportions. Residue of estate to be divided, one-fourth to daughter Charity, one-fourth to son James' children, one-fourth to son Hugh's children, one-fourth to daughter Elisabeth. Grandsons Thomas HARRISON and David COWPERTHWAITE joint executors. Witnesses: James HARRISON, William TAYLOR, Hugh HARRISON.
