Abstract Parish of Greenwich, Kings County, Yeoman. Will dated 10 October 1820, proved 17 September 1823. After debts are paid, residue of "Worldly Estate" to be divided among my children, Benjamin ELSTON, Ruth POST, Hannah SEGEE, Elizabeth PITT "with Ann McCARTY her Share is to be divided between Judea LASKEY (and) Ann SEGEE." Wife to keep the household furniture and her maintenance while she lives. Wife and son Benjamin ELSTON executors. Witnesses: Robert WARD, Patrick COUGHLAN, James THOMAS. Only Benjamin ELSTON sworn as an executor. Inventory, dated 18 September 1823, valued at £162 by Daniel HARRINGTON and Moses KIMBLE. A list of personal property sold on 20 October 1827 includes stock, hay and grain sold to Benjamin ELSTON and one cow sold to Ann ELSTON.
