Abstract Parish of Sackville, Westmorland County, Yeoman. Will dated 5 January 1813, proved 16 September 1814. The name also appears as "FAWCETT" and "FAWCITT" in the probate records. Son John FAWCET 63 acres of my real estate between the mill pond and the highway near my house and £150. Son William FAWCET my farm where I live containing 42 acres and Lot 48 on the west marsh. Daughter Mary DOBSON £100. Sons John and William residue of my real estate. Son William FAWCET sole executor. Witnesses: Alexander KEVAND (as "Alexander KINNEAR" in Record Book 1, page 100), Valentine EASTERBROOKS, Asa TORREY. CODICIL dated 15 April 1814 bequeathed to son William FAWCET residue of personal estate. Witnesses: William READ, Asa TORREY, George TAYLOR. On 24 July 1832 administration of the estate of William FAWCETT of Sackville was granted to James GEORGE, yeoman, of Sackville. Fellow bondsmen William CRANE Esq. and John FAWCETT, both of Sackville. John FAWCETT, William FAWCETT and William [BIRNHAM] directed to appraise the estate. (These latter documents may refer to William FAWCET the son and executor of William FAWCET Senior.)
