Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County. Died 20 December 1833 intestate. Administration granted 14 June 1834 to Catharine WEALING, a creditor. Fellow bondsmen John JOHNSTON and Charles JOHNSTON, all of the City of Saint John. Petition of Catharine WEALING, widow, stated she had sent word of Daniel O'CONNELL's death to her son Martin WHEALING, then residing in Boston, requesting him to write to [Maurice] O'CONNELL, brother of the deceased, respecting administration. An attached letter, dated 22 April 1834 at Raynham, addressed to Mr. M. WHEALAN from Harriett O'CONNELL, stating she wished his mother to administer her brother's estate and requesting that any residue be sent to the deceased's mother.
