Abstract Formerly of Shipton Mallit in Somerset County, England, late Serjeant in His Majesty's 54th Regiment of Foot, now of Kings County, Gentleman. Will dated 1 July 1809, proved 2 May 1816. Wife Mary SEALY one half part of all real and personal estate for life, and at her death to be divided between the children of my daughter Catharine CRAWFORD, wife of Joel CRAWFORD, farmer, Kings County. Daughter Nancy WATSON, wife of Robert WATSON of Saint Stephens, Charlotte County, farmer, one sixth part of my real and personal estate. Daughter Catharine CRAWFORD the remaining one third part of my real and personal estate. Wife Mary SEALY and son-in-law Joel CRAWFORD executors. Witnesses: Ward CHIPMAN, Edwin HAZEN, Ward CHIPMAN Junr. Inventory, dated 4 May 1816, valued at some £450 by Isaac CARSON, Daniel PEATMAN and Richard WHELPLEY listed 100 acres of land as the only real property, but cited no location.
