Abstract "Late of Queens County," yeoman, York County records. (The name also appears as "Douw VANDYNE in the probate records.) Intestate. Administration granted to Cornelius VanDINE 5 February 1788. Only statement of accounts on file. Estate valued at £1,140. Accounts mention "expences to New York for Certificate, £15" and "business to St. John." Mention of payment for "Hetty's Schooling." Dividends paid, £204 each to Arthur VanDINE, Dowe VanDINE, Cornelius VanDINE and £153 each to Edward EARLE's wife, Ezekiel VELEY's wife, and Hetty VanDINE. Administration finalized 15 July 1794.
