To my son Ward CHIPMAN all my Law Books and all other books excepting such as my wife shall wish to retain for her own use. To said son my gold watch, it having been purchased in lieu of one given to me by my much esteemed friend, the late Thomas Alston COFFIN Esq., and it is my desire that it be kept and preserved. To each of my sisters who may be living at the time of my death, ten Guineas. To Martin BRIMMER of Boston, Massachusetts, the son and namesake of my late friend Martin BRIMMER of Roxbury, 50 Guineas. To Charlotte HAZEN, now residing in my family with her Grandmother, £50 to be placed at interest and paid to her at age 21 or upon her marriage.
