Résumé Parish of Gagetown, Queens County. Will dated 23 August 1824, proved 19 November 1824. (Appears as "GONCE" in Record Book B, pages 110-113.) Sons Christopher and Isaac Lot 20 on Great Musquash Island. Son John the residue of my real estate, the livestock and farming utensils, he to pay the following bequests. My wife Mary one cow, four sheep, the use of one room and the adjoining bedroom and her maintenance for life. Daughters Catharine and Charlotte each £30, two cows, four ewes and the use of the upper east room and the bedroom adjoining their mother's while single. Daughter Sarah FOX £15, not to be paid during the lifetime of her husband, and in case of her decease, to her daughters Mary and Sarah when they come of age. Daughter Hannah £15. Grand-daughter Mary SLIP, provided she remain with the family until of age, one cow and four sheep. My two sons Christopher and Isaac each £30. Wife Mary and daughters Catharine and Charlotte all household furniture. Sons Christopher and Isaac GAUNCE and son-in-law William SLIP executors. Witnesses: Samuel SCOVIL, Deborah SCOVIL, Isaac CANBRIDGE.
