Résumé Parish of Salisbury, Westmorland County. Will dated 9 March 1830, proved 7 September 1831. My three sons John, James and Charles GELDART already provided for, to each 5 shillings. My three daughters Ann BLAKNEY, Margaret SEARS and Martha PARKIN being otherwise paid their portion, each 5 shillings. Son Jonathan GELDART £10. Daughter Mary CROSSMAN £10. Daughter Sarah BABCOCK £10. Daughter Mary Ann ROBINSON £10. Son Thomas GELDART all my real estate in Salisbury and my livestock, reserving the best room in the house and half the land and cattle to remain in the hands of my widow for life. At his death, the estate to be the property of his eldest son and on failure thereof, his eldest daughter. If Thomas die without heir, the property to revert to my son-in-law John ROBINSON for life and to his eldest surviving son by my daughter Mary Ann at his death, by his paying £250:— to my sons John and James GELDART each £5 and the remaining £240 to be divided among my sons and daughters. Son-in-law William PARKIN and friend John PARKIN executors. Witnesses: Robert SMITH, Andrew McPHAIL, Lewis GELDART, James GELDART Junr.
