Résumé Parish of Douglas, York County, Farmer. Will dated 26 November 1827, proved 21 July 1832. Daughters Elizabeth and Sarah household furniture. Rest of estate to be sold and proceeds divided, daughter Elizabeth five-sixteenths, daughter Sarah five-sixteenths, sons Evean and Enos, daughters Louisa JAMES, Ann GEORGE, Charlotte GEORGE and Mary each one-sixteenth. Daughter Elenor GRIFFITH 5 shillings. Trustees of the Baptist Society one and a half (acres) of land for a Meeting House and Burying Ground, "land to include the grave of my late wife," un-named. William RICHARDS of Parish of Douglas and Thomas RICHARDS of Parish of Fredericton executors. Witnesses: William WILMOT, Jarvis RING, William TURNER. Both executors renounced administration of estate on 2 March 1831. On 21 July 1832 Thomas RICHARDS revoked his renunciation and took oath as executor. The file also contains an earlier will, dated 15 October 1827, in which testator mentions an intended journey and names son Evan, daughters Elizabeth, Sally, Ann, Charlotte, Elenor and Luiza, and son Enos and daughter Mary in Wales.
