(Record Book E, page 151, records granting of probate on 9 December 1830, which is in error. See the "New Brunswick Courier," 19 November 1831 and 24 December 1831 issues.) Son John PARTELOW, yeoman, Saint John, property at the intersection of Sydney and Britain Streets bounded west by the Blacksmith shop of James HOLMES, with the exception of the small lot where the house of my son Nathan PARTELOW now stands; the latter lot to son Nathan PARTELOW. Residue of estate to be divided between son Thomas PARTELOW and daughters Alithea DEAN, widow, and Elizabeth GORMAN, married woman, all of Saint John. Sons Jehiel PARTELOW Junior, James PARTELOW and Nathan PARTELOW and daughter Ann HULL, widow, of Rhode Island, each 5 shillings. Friends John CLARKE and Henry HENNIGAR executors. Witnesses: James STEWART, Robert CRAWFORD, Robert ROBERTSON Junr. CODICIL, dated 23 February 1831, bequeathed household furniture to daughter Elizabeth GORMAN. Same witnesses. Inventory, filed 22 December 1831, valued at £683 by Obadiah PURDY, Ewen CAMERON and James CLARK, included Lots 1216 and 1217 on Britain Street and Lots 1142 and 1143 on James Street in Saint John.
