Résumé City of Saint John, St. John County, Gentleman. Will dated 5 August 1834, died 4 October 1834, will proved 23 October 1834. Sister Ann Eliza WIGGINS £800 to be at her disposal at age 21 and the interest to be at her disposal from the time she is age 18. Should she die before age 21, her portion to go to my brother Frederick A. WIGGINS. To William Augustus WIGGINS of Norton Parish, Kings County, farmer, £768 during his life, and at his death, £500 to his son or sons and the balance, £268, to his daughters, or if there is only one daughter, she to receive £100 and the other £168 to his son or sons, as they reach age 21. Uncle Gilbert Lester WIGGINS the interest from £700 during his life and the principal divided among his children when the youngest is age 21. To my apprentice George Dennis ONORRISSY (O'MORRISSEY?) £65 Sterling provided he serves his time out according to the articles of apprenticeship, the said sum to be disposed of in buying him a new chronometer, a new watch, a new quadrant and new charts. To George W. POTTER, now in the employ of my father, £12 Sterling to be expended for a flute. To my father Stephen WIGGINS and Frederick A. WIGGINS each a mourning ring to cost £4 Sterling each. Similarly, mourning rings to John JOHNSTON, John L. WILMOT, Robert D. WILMOT, Douglas CLARKE, Edward W. GREENWOOD and Richard SANDS Junior. To Richard SANDS Junior £50. Isabella T. JOHNSTON ten shares of stock in the New Brunswick fire Insurance and a superior gold watch, chain and seals to be bought and given her by my executors. The barque "Kent" to be kept running by my executors until they agree to the disposing of her. Residue of estate to be divided, one-half to my sister Ann Eliza WIGGINS at age 21 and the other half to my friend William Augustus WIGGINS during his life and divided among his children after his death. Father Stephen WIGGINS Esq. and Richard SANDS Junior Esq. joint executors. Witnesses: A. CROOKSHANK, John M. WALKER, George EATON. Inventory "of the Estate of the late Samuel WIGGINS the younger of the City of Saint John who was lost at sea in the year 1834 on his passage from Boston to Eastport," filed 22 March 1852, listed real estate as "none," ten shares of the New Brunswick fire insurance Company valued at £20, thirty-two sixty-fourth shares of the bark "Kent" 355 tons register "about nine years old in the year 1835 when sold" valued at £730 and the sum of £1,878 8s. 11d. received from Stephen WIGGINS and Stephen WIGGINS & Son "being in full for balance due this estate."
