The death of George F. FOSTER occurred Wednesday 15th inst. He was born at Middle Simonds (Carleton Co.) and spent his life there. He had been married three times and leaves three sons and six daughters. His wife died about eight months ago. He was a constable of the county and deputy sheriff for many years. His funeral took place Friday afternoon. He was a member of the Woodstock Masonic Lodge. Services at the house were rendered by Revs. Cahill, Flewelling, Phillips and Currie. The Masons formed in procession and conveyed the casket to the grave where the body was interred under the ritual of that order. The were followed by a large number of Foresters of which order deceased was a member. The Foresters also rendered their funeral ritual at the grave.
