Located 5.35 km NE of Steeves Mountain: Moncton Parish, Westmorland County: first called Jonathan Creek for Jonathan Berry who settled here in 1812: renamed Berry Mills for Tingley Berry, Jonathan's son, who operated a mill here: PO Berry Mill Station 1877-1950: in 1898 Berry Mills was a station on the Intercolonial Railway and a farming settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 church and a population of 200: PO Berry Mills 1950-1969.
