Located 6.16 km SSW of White Head: West Isles Parish, Charlotte County: William Francis Ganong identified the Passamaquoddy name for Adams Island as Amog’enesk’, or "fishing place": Adams Island, along with Parker Island and Mowat Island, were granted to John Mowat and David Mowat in 1806: in 1911 there was 1 family living on Adams Island.
