The International Bridge, which spans the St. John River and connects St. Leonard with Van Buren, Maine, was built in 1911 after years of lobbying by Canadian politicians. Before then, there was a ferry service between the two regions. This is a view of the International Bridge looking from St. Leonard towards Van Buren.
