Irving Settlement
1855-1916 with James Irving as the first postmaster: in 1866 Irving Settlement was a farming and lumbering community with about 62 resident families, including the families of George Irving, John Irving and Rev. James Irving: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Irving Settlement had 1 post office, 1 sawmill, 1 church and a population of 250.
