: PO 1867-1877 and 1896-1948: in 1898 Hanford Brook was a station on the Hampton and St. Martins Railway and a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 sawmill, 1 quarry, 1 church and a population of 50: included Taborville or Tabor Bridge: James Tabor, Jesse Tabor and Noah Tabor were early settlers here: in 1898 Tabor Bridge was a farming and lumbering settlement with 1 church and a population of 15.
