Located 2.25 km NW of Cocagne Cove: Dundas Parish, Kent County: in 1866 Cocagne Shore was a farming community with approximately 27 families: in 1871 it had a population of 200: PO Cocagne Cape 1884-1955: in 1898 Cocagne Cape or Cocagne Shore had 1 post office, 15 lobster factories and a population of 250.
