Located on S side of the Tobique River, 4.24 km ESE of Rowena: Perth Parish, Victoria County: PO Tobique River 1879-1965 with David Currie as first postmaster: in 1898 Tobique River was a flag station on the Canadian Pacific Railway (called Currie) and a settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 church and a population of 25.
