Located along Grand Lake, 1.29 km W of Youngs Cove: Waterborough Parish, Queens County: first called Babington: PO 1877-1901 with Joseph Babington as postmaster: in 1898 "Babbington" was a farming settlement with a population of 50: renamed Dixon when the post office was changed: PO Dixon 1901-1923: became part of Youngs Cove Road.
