Description
Located on E side of the Petitcodiac River across from Stoney Creek, 5.36 km NW of Gautreau Village: Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County: PO 1853-1932: in 1866 Dover was a farming and lumbering community with 60 families, including 9 McFarlane families: in 1871 it had a population of 200: in 1898 Dover had 1 post office, 1 store, 2 churches and a population of 400: Dover became part of the village of Memramcook.
