Located 3.85 km W of Cap-Pelé and 5.13 km E of Robichaud: Shediac Parish and Botsford Parish, Westmorland County: named for Ambroise Dupuis who settled here in 1808: PO Dupey's Corner 1873-1930: PO Dupuis Corner 1930-1957: in 1898 Dupuis Corner was a farming and fishing settlement with 1 post office, 3 lobster factories and a population of 200: included Tedish, located 1.5 km SW of Cap-Pelé: PO 1861-1880: in 1866 Tedish was a farming community with approximately 90 resident families, including 8 Burk, 8 Gooden, 7 Gould, 16 LeBlanc and 7 Veno families: in 1871 Tedish had a population of 200: today Dupuis Corner is within the village of Cap-Pelé.
