Located on the Aroostook River, 3.92 km NNW of Aroostook: Grand Falls Parish, Victoria County: William Francis Ganong identified the Maliseet name for Four Falls as Pahkopskee'ok: settled in 1849: first called Little River for the local name for "Limestone Stream": PO Aroostook 1852-1883: PO Four Falls 1883-1951: in 1898 Four Falls was a community with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 hotel, 1 grist mill, 1 church and a population of 100: included Aroostook Portage: PO 1880-1897 and 1911-1920. Four Falls became part of Aroostook.
