Located on the Petitcodiac River, 3.17 km SE of Saint-Anselme: Moncton Parish and Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County: first called Ruisseau des Renards and renamed Fox Creek with the creation of the first post office: PO from 1854: in 1871 Fox Creek and surrounding district had a population of 500: in 1898 Fox Creek was a farming community with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 tannery, 1 cheese factory, 1 tinware factory, 1 church and a population of 250: Fox Creek is now within the town of Dieppe.
