Located 2.26 km NW of Lewis Mountain: Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County: settled in 1843 on the post road from Fredericton to Halifax: included Albert, named for Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria: in 1866 Albert was a farming settlement with about 11 resident families: PO Fredericton Road 1861-1926: in 1866 Fredericton Road was a farming and lumbering settlement with about 40 families: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Fredericton Road had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 200.
