Located on the Northumberland Strait, 7.87 km WNW of Côte-Sainte-Anne and 7.54 km SW of Richibucto-Village: Richibucto Parish, Kent County: settled in 1820 by immigrants from the region of Galloway in Scotland: also called New Galloway: in 1866 Galloway was a farming settlement with about 13 families: in 1871 Galloway had a population of 150.
