Located 2.25 km NW of Parker Ridge: Stanley Parish, York County: settled in the 1860's: named for Arthur Charles Hamilton Gordon, 1st Baron Stanmore (1829-1912) and the lieutenant-governor of New Brunswick from 1861-1866: in 1866 Gordon Vale was a farming community with approximately 3 resident families.
