Located 7.61 km NW of Oak Point and 1.5 km NW of the Hampstead/Greenwich parish boundary: Hampstead Parish, Queens County: Andrew Hamilton, who was orginially from Ireland, settled here in 1821: in 1871 Hamilton Mountain had a population of 50: PO 1883-1954 with John Hamilton as the first postmaster: in 1898 Hamilton Mountain was a farming settlement with a population of 50: Hamilton Mountain is no longer a community as it was located within the area expropriated for CFB Gagetown.
