Located on Washademoak Lake, 3.71 km S of Lakeview: Johnston Parish, Queens County: PO 1866-1912: in 1866 Johnston was a farming settlement with about 60 families including 5 Hetherington, 6 Starkey and 7 Worden families: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Johnston had 1 post office and a population of 75: Johnston is now within the village of Cambridge-Narrows.
