Located 3.87 km E of Carsonville and 2.26 km NW of Newtown: Studholm Parish, Kings County: John Jordan, Richard Jordan and Moses Jordan were early settlers here: in 1866 Jordan Mountain was a farming settlement with approximately 23 resident families: PO 1886-1897 and 1911-1929: in 1898 Jordan Mountain had 1 post office and a population of 25.
