Located at the mouth of the Aboujagane and Kinnear Rivers, 6.13 km NNW of Cormier-Village: Shediac Parish, Westmorland County: formerly called Aboushagan: in 1866 Abougoggin was a farming and lumbering settlement with approximately 30 resident families: in 1898 Abougoggin had 2 stores, 2 sawmills, 1 church and a population of 450: became part of Robichaud.
