Located 5.49 km ESE of Washademoak: Johnston Parish, Queens County: settled about 1810: PO 1852-1932: in 1866 Long Creek was a farming community with approximately 17 resident families, including 4 Secord and 4 Vincent families: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Long Creek had 1 post office, 1 store, 1 grist mill and a population of 75: included the settlement of Secord's Corner.
