Located 3.71 km S of Tracey Mills: Wilmot Parish, Carleton County: George Long, David Long and Eleazer Long were early settlers here: PO 1858-1913: in 1866 Long Settlement was a farming settlement with about 33 families: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Long Settlement had 1 post office and a population of 150.
