Located on Skedaddle Ridge, 3.16 km SE of Knowlesville, at the divide between the South Branch Southwest Miramichi River and North Branch Becaguimec Stream: Aberdeen Parish and Brighton Parish, Carleton County: settled in the 1860's by American draft evaders but later abandoned: this area was resettled by settlers from New Brunswick and called Mapleton.
