Located on E side of the St. John River, 3.13 km SE of Bellefleur, on the road to Powers Creek: Saint-Léonard Parish and Saint-André Parish, Madawaska County: the Martins were Irish settlers whose original surname was "Kilmartin": PO St. Leonard 1863-1900: PO Martin's 1900-1937 with Patrick Martin as the first postmaster.
