Located 3.17 km NE of Memramcook: Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County: formerly called Gouldville or Village des Bonhommes for Isidore Gould-Doiron dit Bonhomme, who was an early settler here: PO Gouldville 1888-1899: in 1898 Gouldville was a farming settlement with 1 post office and a population of 200: PO Memramcook East 1899-1917: in 1904 Memramcook-est was a farming and lumbering community with 1 post office, 2 stores, 1 church and a population of 300: in 1995 Memramcook-est became part of the village of Memramcook.
