Located on E side of the St. John River, 2.52 km E of Baker Brook, on the road to Saint-Hilaire: Baker Brook Parish, Madawaska County: PO 1894-1948 with J.P. Michaud as first postmaster: in 1898 Michaud was a farming community on the Témiscouata Railway with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 cheese factory and a population of 150: Michaud became part of Baker Brook.
