Baker, Elisha H. Baker, Henry Baker, Hezekiah Baker, Jessie Baker, and S.G. Baker: in 1871 Middle Southampton had a population of about 200: in 1898 Middle Southampton was a settlement with 1 post office, 2 stores, 1 hotel, 1 cheese factory, 2 churches and a population of 100.
