Located 8.56 km WSW of Chipman, on the road to Newcastle Bridge: Chipman Parish, Queens County: named for its geographic position between Minto and Chipman: in 1866 Midland was a farming settlement with about 8 families: included the community of Kingscroft: PO Kingscroft 1899-1930: named for George Gerald King (1836-1929), a lumberman and Member of Parliament.
