Located on the Nerepis River, 2.27 km SE of Blagdon and 13.59 km NW of Grand Bay: Westfield Parish, Kings County: William Francis Ganong identified the Maliseet name for Nerepis as Nelerpeechk': in 1866 Nerepis was a farming community with 6 resident families: in 1871 Nerepis was a station on the European and North American Railway and had a population of 150: PO Nerepis Station 1873-1938: in 1898 Nerepis was a flag station on the Canadian Pacific Railway and a settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 sawmill and a population of 100.
