Located 4.48 km SW of Grandmaison, on the road to Moulin-Morneault: Saint-Jacques Parish, Madawaska County: established in 1878 and named for Patrie Thériault, wife of Levite Thériault, who was the founder of the settlement: the adoption of the Free Grants Act in 1879 encouraged further settlement of the area: PO 1940-1957.
