Located on N Bank of the Elmtree River, 2.23 km NW of Petit-Rocher, on the road to Pointe-Verte: Beresford Parish, Gloucester County: PO Elm Tree 1898-1927: in 1866 Elm Tree was a farming and fishing settlement with approximately 36 resident families, of whom 14 were members of the Roy family: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1904 Elm Tree was a flag station on the Intercolonial Railway and a community with 1 post office and a population of 200: PO Petit-Rocher-Nord from 1927: now part of Petit-Rocher.
