Located 2.27 km SW of Rothesay: Rothesay Parish, Kings County: named in 1903 for James Renforth, who was a member of a rowing team, known as the Tyne Crew, from Newcastle, England: James Renforth died after a race held on the Kennenecasis River against the famous Paris Crew of Saint John on 23 August 1871: formerly called The Chalet and Poverty Hill: PO Chalet 1911-1922: PO Renforth from 1922: Renforth was incorporated as a village in 1966.
