Located 6.77 km NE of Petitcodiac, on the road to Salisbury: Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County: PO North River Platform 1861-1903: in 1866 North River Platform was a farming and lumbering community with approximately 27 resident families: in 1871 it was a station on the European and North American Railway and had a population of 100: in 1898 North River Platform was a settlement with 1 post office, 1 store, 1 sawmill and a population of 75: renamed in 1903: PO River Glade from 1903.
