Located on the Shepody Road, 3.93 km SSW of Goshen: Elgin Parish, Albert County: settled in 1848 by immigrants from the village of Roxburgh in Scotland: PO 1862-1924: in 1866 Roxburgh was a farming community with about 21 families: in 1871 it had a population of 150: in 1898 Roxburgh had 1 post office, 1 church and a population of 150.
